The Nigerian National female team, the super falcons has been knocked out of the Tokyo 2020 Olympic games after playing a 1-1 draw with Ivory coast at the Agege Township Stadium. 

The team lead by Newly elected Captain Asisat Oshoala failed to Make judicious use of their home advantage and were forced to settled for 1-1 which makes the third time in a roll the super Falcons would not be present at an Olympic event.
