Joseph Yobo : "I prefer the league should be cancelled and Liverpool don't win it."

Newly appointed assistant head coach of the National team, Joseph Yobo has had his say on Liverpool EPL winning title hopes.

Joseph Yobo admits that as a former Everton Player which is an Arch rival to neighbors, Liverpool, he wouldn't want to see the reds lift the Title.

Rather he prefers the FA to cancel the league which automatically would be declared null and void.

“As an Everton Blue I would prefer that the league is cancelled so that Liverpool don't win it." Quote via Goal Africa

“But as a football fan, and as someone who loves the game, I think Liverpool have done well and do deserve to win it."

Liverpool are currently at the summit of the EPL but are being denied what seems to be a already secured title due to the Covid-19 pandemic with many rivals calling for the league to be declared null and void thereby extending Liverpool 30 years of Waiting for an EPL title.

Joseph Yobo was part of the Everton team from 2003 to 2012 spending 9 years with the toffees, bagging 8 goals in 196 games as a central defender.
