The German Bundesliga returned Back in action this week after over two months of being sidelined due to the corona virus pandemic and that also saw the return in action for Super Eagles player, Jamilu Collins.


 Nigerian Jamilu Collins featured for his team in the entire duration of the game as they played out a goalless draw away at Fortuna Dusseldorf in their battle for Survival against the drop. He became the First Super Eagles player to feature in a game after 66 days of non-football activities due to covid-19.




 The home team were the first to threaten the goal after a shot from Fortuna Dusseldorf player came off the post from close range in the first 20 minutes of the game. As at this period Collins and his team mates never looked to be a threat in attack as the rarely pulled off a shot.

 Paderborn's first real threat  came in in the 36th Minute from a direct free kick which was parried away by the Opposing Goal Keeper. The match first half of the encounter ended Goalless.



The second half  still changed nothing in the game even after the inclusion of nine substitutes by both teams as they eventually settled for a Full time Goalless draw . Jamilu Collins featured for the entire duration of the encounter.

As it stands, Paderborn sits bottom of the league table with 17 points while Fortuna Dusseldorf sits 3rd from bottom with 23 points. Both teams are in the relegation zone. Check League Table here
