The weekend of football continues as Mid-table FC Cologne and Relegation Battlers, Mainz 05 clashed in Matchday 26 of the Bundesliga 2019/20 Season

 Nigeria's Kingsley Ehizibue and Taiwo Awoniyi had their fair share of playing time as their teams share the spoils in an Entertaining Encounter.

A sloppy defending in the early minutes of the game proved costly for relegation threatened Mainz 05 as they conceded a six minutes penalty which was clinically dispatched by Mark uth.




 The Away side battled to restore parity to the game but were dragged further behind as Florian Kainz doubled the lead for Cologne. Taiwo Awoniyi Came into the game in the 56th Minute, replacing Dong-Ji who was already having a Yellow Card and immediately, he (Awoniyi) made his impact felt with a good finish after an assist from team mate, Bote Baku. The comeback was completed in the 72nd Minute as Pierre Kunde was in hand to slot home the ball.



Kingsley Ehizibue was introduced in th 83rd Minute as a fourth substitute for FC cologne.

Taiwo Awonyi's Goal today was his First for the Club this season. The forward had previously expressed his frustration for lack of game playing time
