1 - VINCENT ENYEAMA (GOAL KEEPER)
Honour(s): 2013 African cup of Nations Winner
Vincent Enyeama is Unarguably the best Goalkeeper the National team has produced. Enyeama made his senior Debut for the National team in 2002 against Kenya. Enyeama was the first choice goal keeper for Nigeria from 2002 till 2015. He was part of the team that Won the 2015 AFCON Tounament with a solid Performance in between the sticks .Enyeama retired due to a controversy between himself and the then head coach, Sunday Oliseh. The Former Lille Shot-stopper racked a total of 101 Appearances for the National team.

2 -JOSEPH YOBO (DEFENDER)
Honours:2013 African cup of Nations Winner
Joseph Yobo takes the spot in number 2. The Former Everton man is one of the best Central Defenders to have graced the field of play for the National team. Joseph Yobo made his debut for the National team in 2001 under Late Coach Ahmadu Shuaibu and since then became an integral part of the National team squad, participating in three FIFA World cups and Six African Cup of Nations Tournament.
Joseph Yobo captained the National team to AFCON triumph in 2013.

3 - CELESTINE BABAYARO (DEFENDER)
Honours:1996 Olympic Gold Medalist
Celestine Babayaro Played as a left-back for Nigeria. He was part of the 1996 squad that won the Olympic Gold under coach Jo Bonfrere. Babayaro was capped 35 times for the National team.

4 - NWANKWO KANU (FORWARD)
Honour(s):1996 Olypic Gold Medalist, AFCON 2000 Silver Medalist
Nwankwo Kanu is widely considered as the Greatest Nigerian Footballer ever by Many. 'Papilo' as Fondly called started playing for the National team as far back as 1994 and two years later clinched the Gold Medal for Nigeria at the 1996 Olympics. The Lanky forward is Unarguably Nigeria's best Ever to have worn the Jersey Number 4. Wilfred Ndidi is another Notable Mention in the Making.

5 - UCHE OKECHUKWU (DEFENDER)
Honour(s):AFCON 1994, Olympics 1996 Gold Medalist
Uche Okechukwu played as a left-back for the Nigerian National team from 1990 - 1998. Uche had a blissful career with the National team, retiring with two trophies, the AFCON and Olympics Gold Medal. Uche Okechukwu was a rock solid defender for the National team during his playing time.
6 - TARIBO WEST (DEFENDER)
Honour(s):Olympics 1996 Gold Medalist, AFCON 2000 Silver Medalist
The Defender turned Pastor is known to be a hard nut to crack in the defence. Taribo West is one defender who gave opposing Attackers tough time. He played for the National team from 1994-2005 winning the Olympic gold medal and AFCON trophy.
7 - AHMED MUSA (FORWARD)

Ahmed Musa takes the Number 7 spot. Musa comes under stiff competition with Legendary Finidi George for the Best number 7 in the National team but the Current super Eagles Captain edges out on this. Ahmed Musa Made hi senior debut for The national team in 2010 at the age of 17. The speedster remains the only Nigerian to have scored a brace in two consecutive world cup tournament. Ahmed Musa currently is on 27 games for the National team and he is the captain of the squad. Ahmed Musa has an AFCON Trophy to his name.

8 - MUTIU ADEPOJU (MIDFIELDER)
Honour(s):AFCON 1994 Winner
Mutiu Adepoju, a former Real Madrid Man had 12 good solid years with the National Team with which he won the 1994 AFCON Title. Mutiu may not have had the best of club careers but as far as the National team is concerned as well as wearing the Number 8 jersey, Mutiu Adepoju Undoubtedly had a good spell with the National team. Another Notable Mention in regards to the Number 8 squad Number is Current Super Eagles Man, Oghenekaro Etebo who is walking his way to greater height. 9 - RASHIDI YEKINI (FORWARD)

Late Rashidi Yekini is Undoubtedly the Greatest Nigerian Striker Ever. Yekini holds the record for the Most Goals scored in the Nigerian National team with 37 goals in 57 matches. He led the team to victory at the AFCON1994 Tournament. He sadly passed away in 2012 but no doubt, his legacy Lives on.

10 - JAY JAY OKOCHA (FORWARD)

A tough one here between Jay Jay Okocha and John Obi Mikel but when we talk about how Iconic the Jersey Number 10 has been then we quickly flash our minds back to the Magical Jay Jay Okocha whose skills and tricks were a pleasure to behold. Jay Jay had a blissful career with the Super eagles filled with Huge success and achievements spending 13 good years with the National team from 1993 - 2006.

11 - VICTOR MOSES (FORWARD)

Victor Moses was part of the National team squad from 2012-2018. The Winger was known for his skills and pace. Victor Moses had a good spell of playing time with the National team before calling it a quit with. Moses had 12 goals in 38 games for the super Eagles while wearing the Jersey Number 12.
