President of Lille,Gerard Lopez has urged Nigerian starlet, Victor Osimhen to secure a move to Napoli ahead of other teams who are interested in the Young Nigerian.

 According to Lopez, Napoli as a team is very much closer to other European giants such as Barcelona and Juventus. He believes Osimhen has the capability to become a superstar in Italy. The President also Confirmed that Lille has received an Offer from different clubs for the 21 years old Goal Poacher.


"Napoli is just below Juventus and Barcelona, they can be considered on the same level of Atletico Madrid. If Osimhen should go there, he would become their superstar he has the quality to play under pressure and I believe he would have a city like Napoli at his feet, which would be a unique thing in the career of a player." Lopez said as reported on Italian Journalist, Gianluca Di marzio's Blog

"We have received differing offers for him, we are in agreement on discussing what will be best for his future, and with which coach he would do best with," He added.

 Lille and Napoli are yet to arrive at an Agreement for the Transfer of Osimhen but from all indications, the deal which is around 80m would be completed in No time.

Apart from Lille's President who is rooting for Osimhen to Make a switch to Italy, Napoli's Striker, Dries Mertens has also admitted that Osimhen would fit in Perfectly into the squad and also stated that he has heard about the good works the Former Sporting Charleroi man did while at Belgium.
