Nigerian League side, Akwa United has recently been crowned Champions of the Nigerian Professional Football League, NPFL after Defeating MFM FC 5-2 at the Godswill Akpabio Stadium in Uyo, Akwa Ibom State.

The Win against MFM was all the Team needed to clinch the prestigious league Title which happens to be Akwa United's First Ever League Title.

Supporters were allowed into the Godswill Akpabio Stadium for free. Governor Emmanuel Udom was present to Cheer the Boys.

After the Game, Akwa United on social media have taken time to Honour one of their Fans who Arguably is the Oldest Akwa United Fan at 75 Years of Age

Mrs. Patricia Patrick was pictured wearing the Akwa United home Jersey and Beaming with Smiles.
