Reigning Laliga Champions, Atletico Madrid have welcomed Antoine Griezmann back to the club, striking a deal with FC Barcelona on Transfer Deadline Day.

Antoine Griezmann returns back to Atletico Madrid 2 years after leaving the Club. The Attacker returns on a 2 years loan deal with the Roji Blancos having an Option to Buy after the completion of the Loan Spell.  
During the Attacker's First spell at Atletico Madrid, he Registered 133 goals and 50 assists in 257 games across all Competitions. Griezmann wore the Famous number 7 Jersey. 

His days at FC Barcelona wasn't as easy as one would have expected it to. The Attacker was subject to Series of criticism and backlash from the Fans who weren't really happy with his performance on the field of play. before his Loan deal, Griezmann featured for FC Barcelona 102 times, scoring 35 goals and registering 17 assists in all Competitions.

With the Departure of Saul Niguez from Atletico Madrid to Chelsea on Transfer Deadline Day, Antoine Griezmann has now been offered the Number 8 Jersey as his Famous Number 7 is Currently in possession of João Felix, the Portuguese Youngster who Joined the Club in 2019, signing from Benfica.
