PSG Player, Lionel Messi has made a comparison between Football in Ligue and that of the Spanish Laliga.

Lionel Messi completed a move to PSG in the summer of 2021 on a Free Transfer After a period of  Uncertainty surrounding the players future due to the Crisis faced by FC Barcelona Board. 

Messi is yet to hit full gear in Ligue 1, Still waiting for his First Goal in the French League after 3 appearances. Although the Argentine Maestro has scored his First PSG Goal Which came against Manchester City in the UCL. 

Discussing on Football in Spain and France, Lionel Messi made it clear that the French League is much tougher than Laliga in terms of Physicality

“[Ligue 1] It’s a league that is much more physical than LaLiga,” Lionel Messi told France Football.

“Here, the teams seem to me to be more powerful and the matches are very competitive, with not much space."

“Most of the players are very strong.”

Lionel Messi who is currently on International duty with Argentina would be hoping to replicate his National team form with his Club Side.

PSG Takes on Angers after the international Break, both teams meet on Friday, 15th of October 2021.
