Ahead of the 2022 World Cup in Qatar, the draws for the Playoffs rounds of Qualifying matches have been made.

12 teams are to compete in 3 groups (Paths) of which only one team advances from each group or path. The groups are made up of 4 teams Apiece.

Portugal and Italy were Drawn in Path C which means we won't be seeing one of them in Qatar Next year. 

Both Portugal and Italy blew off their Chances of getting an automatic Qualification Spot after failing to record a win in their respective last group stage games of European World Cup Qualifying rounds.
