FRANCIS UZOHO BIRTH, ORIGIN AND EARLY LIFE 

Francis Odinaka Uzoho is Nigerian Professional Footballer born on the 28th October, 1998 in Imo State, an Eastern Region in Nigeria.

As a 14 Years old, Francis Uzoho began pursuing a career in football, joining Nigerian Amateur side, Aspire Academy in 2013. The Shotstopper initially Began is Career as an Attacker but was converted into a Goalkeeper after he was deemed too slow to perform as a Forward.

After spending three years at Aspire Acadmey, Francis Uzoho Eventually got an Opportunity to perform outside the shores of Nigeria as he Joined Spanish Side, Deportivo La Coruna Juvenil team following an impressive display in a tournament held in Barcelona,

FRANCIS UZOHO CAREER (CLUB)
On October 15, 2017,  Francis Uzoho made his first senior debut for Deportivo La Coruna, Keeping a Clean sheet as he featured in the team's goalless draw against SD Eibar. Francis Uzoho made history in that game as he became the Youngest Non-Spanish goalkeeper to feature in an official Laliga game. The Goalkeeper was Only 18 Years, 352 days as at then.

On the 24th of August, 2018, Deportivo La Coruna Announced that Francis Uzoho would play the season on loan at Elche, another Spanish Club where he spent just a year, featuring in 8 games and keeping 3 clean sheets

Francis Uzoho began a new Adventure outside Spain as he Joined Cypriot side, Anorthosis Famagusta in 2019 on loan from parent club, Deportivo La Coruna. The Player Featured Just Thrice for Anarthosis, Keeping a Clean sheet in just 3 games played.

Uzoho, Left Anarthosis Famagusta but joined another Cypriot side, Omonia Nicosa On loan from Deportivo La Coruna.


Francis Uzoho's Blissful adventure in the Cypriot league wasn't coming to an End anytine soon as the Player secured a Permanent Move to APOEL     Nicosia, Bidding Farewell to Deportivo after 3 years at the club. 

At APOEL Nicosia, Uzoho played 25 times, conceding 23 goals and Keeping 9 clean sheets,

A return to Omonia was on the Books for Uzoho and the Player secured the  in 2021 but this time on a Permanent Basis. in 2021/2022 season, Uzoho Featured in 16 games for Omonia, keeping 4 clean sheets in 16 games and winning the Cypriot Cup.

A Nigerian By Birth, Francis Uzoho's Rise to the Senior National team was very Much Predictable considering the Fact that the Player was part of the Golden Eaglets side that represented Nigeria at the 2013 FIFA U-17 World Cup held at the United Arab Emirates between October and November,

Arguably the Youngest Player as at that time, Uzoho playe Second fiddle to First Choice Goalie, Dele Alampasu at the Tournament which was eventually won by the Young Nigerian Squad.

At the Senior Level, Francis Uzoho made his Debut for Nigeria in the Super Eagles' 4-2 triumph over England in a Friendly Match. The Player replaced Daniel Akpeyi in-between the Sticks for Nigeria.

Already Considered as Nigeria's First Choice Goalkeeper in 2018, this time, Uzoho never had to play as a substitute Goalkeeper for Nigeria at the 2018 World Cup as featured in all 3 Super Eagles Game at the Tournament held in Russia.


In 2019, Francis Uzoho was part of the Super Eagles Squad that Clinched a Bronze Medal for Nigeria at the African Cup of Nations held in Egypt
