Legendary Arsenal Footballer, Paul Merson has tipped his Former club to sign Serbian Midfielder Sergej Milinkovic Savic ahead of Leicester City's Youri Tielemans.
Tielemans has emerged as a Long term target for Arsenal who have been chasing the player for a couple of transfer windows now but yet to finalise a deal for the Belgian Midfielder.

This Current Transfer window is no exception to the Pursuit of Tielemans by Arsenal as recent reports suggests that the Gunners have prepared a £30m bid for the 25 Years old as They hope to seal a deal fast in order to beat off Competition from Manchester United who have Also shown interest in The Player. Although, Tielemans is interested in signing for Arsenal which give the Gunners the Advantage above other suitors.
Paul Merson, A Football legend turned pundit who featured for the Gunners from 1985 - 1997 has given his candid opinion on the Gunners transfer in Regards to Signing Youri Tielemans.

"Youri Tielemans would fit nicely at Arsenal if James Ward-Prowse takes the soft option and stays at Southampton,’ Merson told the Daily Star.

“Leicester’s Tielemans would tick the box for Arsenal. He’d be a decent alternative. But Sergej Milinkovic-Savic is the player I would go for.

“And I think Savic is a lovely player. A really top-drawer player. The way he played for Lazio last season I personally think he is the best midfield player in Italy.”

Milinkovic Savic is undoubtedly a Very Good Midfielder who has proven to be one of the Best in the World. The 27 Years old Last season featured 47 games across all Competitions scoring 11 goals and registering 12 assists, taking his total tally for the Club to 58 Goals and 51 assists in 294 games since Signing from Genk in 2015.

Milinkovic Savic may not appear as a market friendly player for the Gunners as he is valued at €70m.
