Werder Bremen winger, Justin Njimah has revealed that he is well aware of the fact that the Nigerian football federation are keeping tabs on him for a potential call-up to the national team.

Justin Njimah who possesses dual Nationality through one of his parents (Nigeria) and his country of Birth (Germany) missed out on a call up to the German national team for the just concluded Euros tournament, possibly due to injuries.

The 23 years old while reflecting on the 2023/2024 season had something to say about his interest in featuring for the German national team which is his ultimate goal after recently missing out due to injury.

He said (via fussballtransfers.com) "So it was pretty clear to me that I had no chance. Nevertheless, I know that they have me on their radar. I haven't had a discussion with anyone from the German staff yet, but of course that's a big goal of mine that I hope I can achieve."

Njimah who is well aware of his Nigerian heritage also stated that: "I'm being watched there too (in Nigeria), but I can't make a decision until I get an invitation. Then I'd have to weigh things up really carefully ,"

Justin Njimah during this Just concluded season featured 24 times for Werder Bremen, scotin 6 goals and registering 2 assists.
