Recently capped Nigeria super Eagles invitee, Sodiq Ismail has revealed that he is unhappy with the departure of former head coach, Finidi George.

Finidi George, the one time head coach of NPFL side, Enyimba FC left the position of the supe Eagles coach following an unimpressive display in Nigeria's double World cup qualifying games against South Africa and Benin in June where the super Eagles were only able to manage a draw against South Africa, collecting just one point out of a possible six.

Sodiq Ismail, a defender for Nigerian League Side, Remo Stars who got invited by coach Finidi George for the qualifying games has opened up on his state of mind following the coach's departure from the National team.

According to Sodiq, he said (Via teamnigeriauk3 on IG): "I'm not happy about it. However, I hope to learn from the new manager and his team when they come on board."

Sodiq Ismail saw 30 minutes of action in his debut against Benin Republic, in a game where the Super Eagles lost 2-1
