Nigeria Super Eagles player, Alex iwobi featured in Fulham's pre-season encounter against Portuguese side, Benfica and was the star of the match, following a stellar display.

Alex Iwobi scored the only goal of the game in the 21st minute, giving Fulham the lead as they went on to secure the valuable goal which ultimately handed them the win against the Portuguese giants.

Iwobi's display earned him the man of the match award which appeared in the form of a golden boot. His goal also earned Fulham the Trofeu do Algarve trophy.

Nigerian Defender, Calvin Bassey also featured in the game.
