Cristiano Ronaldo returned into action in his usual electrifying fashion scoring a goal and creating another as Al Nassr defeat Al Tawoon in the Saudi Super cup Semi Final

Al Nassr returned to action in the Saudi Pro League, taking on fellow tier one side, Al Tawoon in the Semi Finals of the Saudi Super Cup as both sides look on to secure a spot in the final.

It took Al Nassr barely eight minutes to open up the scoring, all thanks to a goal from Yahya Ayman which was well assisted by Cristiano Ronaldo.

The six-times ballon d'or winner wasn't done yet as he went on to add his name on the score sheet, slamming home a beautiful pass from team mate Al Ghannam to extend Al Nassr's lead and cement their place in the Final of the super cup.

Cristiano Ronaldo was replaced in the 82nd minute of the game by Abdulrahman Gareeb.

Al Nassr will now face Staunch rivals Al Hilal in the Final of the Super cup as the latter saw off Al Ahli on penalties (4-1) after playing a full time draw (1-1). The match is scheduled to be played on Saturday, 17th of August, 2024.
