According to the Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA), 43 ships are expected to dock in Lagos’s Apapa, Lekki Deep Sea, and Tincan Island ports with a variety of commodities, including food supplies, petroleum products, and more.
From May 26th to June 6th, the ships are anticipated to dock at the ports, as stated in Tuesday’s NPA Daily Shipping Position.
According to the authority, eight of the ships set to dock have containers carrying a variety of commodities, while the other thirty-five are expected to carry a wide variety of cargoes, such as fresh fish, petrol, general cargo, bulk wheat, aviation fuel, diesel, petrol and more.
Eleven tankers and boats have already reached the three ports, according to the NPA, and were waiting for berthing permission. Containers, fuel, fertiliser in bulk, diesel, crude oil, condensate, and salt in bulk are all on board the ships.
Additional information was provided regarding the 21 vessels that are now unloading various cargoes at the ports. These include bulk urea, containers, petrol, vehicles, sugar, wheat, millet and gypsum.
