Remo Stars and Beyond Limits’ qualifying status is defended by Aluo

Remo Stars and Beyond Limits will be able to play in the Nigeria National League (NNL) next season, according to George Aluo, the league’s chairman.

Football investor and businessman Kunle Soname owns Remo Stars and Beyond Limits.

Concerns about a potential conflict of interest have been expressed by the clubs’ owners over their potential competition in the same division.

According to Aluo, the Ikenne-based clubs’ ownership and operational structure are in compliance with league standards.

After reviewing the paperwork, Aluo informed Sport Village Square that the two clubs’ ownership and administrative structures are distinct. Facilities sharing is not necessarily a violation of integrity.

“In order to maintain fair play in the sport, we will separate Remo Stars and Beyond Limits into separate groups.”
