The arrest of a Ratel user named Veryblackman, also known as VDM brother, has been demanded by Mario Wazobia and Broda Mike, two Nigerian comedians and content creators, in connection with a threat to murder comedian DeeOne.
VeryBlackman reportedly threatened to murder comedian DeeOne if they crossed paths in an Instagram video he posted over the weekend, according to Footynaija.
“Whenever I lay eyes on DeeOne, I’m not joking or capping it,” Veryblackman declared in a video that has since been removed. I already have plans for that day; I’m going to sleep before I go to the police station. Either I’ll go to jail or I’ll stomp on him and go to sleep at the police station. Even if I am, I can’t say which prison it is. However, one of them must occur inside the two, as I am aware.
The video has gone viral in Nigeria, prompting many to voice their concerns over what they perceive as a danger to life. Notable figures like Broda Mike and comedian Mario Wazobia have also joined the chorus of Nigerians urging their colleague DeeOne to bring Veryblackman to justice.
You and DeeOne have nothing in common, Wazobia stated in an Instagram video. Your parents’ names are off-limits to him. You made a death threat against him on camera and added, “Either you kpain” or else. The public’s safety is paramount to DeeOne. It seems like this person has plans to kidnap you. I am not inclined to go to jail. This embodies VDM’s essence.
Apart from that video, Broda Mike also stated, “DeeOne, this guy has been threatening you for the past few days. If he sees you, he promised to go get you. Just for the airport, just for the performance. And let’s pretend you’re a famous comic who always has a great show. Even if you have thirty bouncers, the guy will still go after you, he says. “Pkain na death” and its significance.
“DeeOne, apprehend this youth. Your life is in danger because of him. These people’s habits are obvious to you. This group called Ratel—I have no idea if they’re cultists. That’s openly menacing; he’s not trying to hide it. I understand why DeeOne wanted to have him arrested. I’m letting you know.
Veryblackman is VeryDarkMan’s associate, according to Footynaija, even though DeeOne is a noted critic of VeryDarkMan and his Ratel movement.
