Former Nigerian president Bola Tinubu was characterised by AAC presidential aspirant Omoyele Sowore as a betrayed Nigerian on Tuesday.
While being released from the Kuje prison following his temporary remand by an Abuja Federal High Court, Sowore made the comment.
The court released the political activist on bail of N200 million, but he is again back in the custody of the Kuje Correctional Centre till his release conditions are met.
Justice Mohammed Umar granted Sowore bail, but only under strict terms. These include posting bond with two sureties—one from his native community and one from Abuja—and surrendering his international passport. This information was first published by footynaija.
After an arraignment for claiming Tinubu was a criminal on June 22, 2026, Sowore was remade.
Sowore, though, insisted on X that he had been wrongfully remanded and that he would remain unbreakable.
Sowore documented his release from Kuje Prison, where he had been wrongfully held by Bola Ahmed Tinubu and his government, a failed betrayer of the Nigerian people.
