The recruitment of Akor Adams, a striker for the Super Eagles, has been finalised, according to Footynaija’s reporting, with Sevilla and Serie A newcomers Venezia.
After rejecting the initial offer of €12 million, Sevilla eventually accepted €16 million from the Italian club Venezia.
As a result of the deal, Adams will become Venezia’s most expensive signing ever.
The 26-year-old made 32 appearances for Sevilla in all competitions in 2025 after joining the club from Montpellier in France. He had a fantastic season, contributing to 10 goals and three assists.
Adams was also a member of the Nigerian national team that won bronze at the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations.
The dynamic striker got his start in the league with Lillestrom of Norway.
Adams has also played for the U-20 national team.
