Nigerian musician Damini Ogulu, better known by his stage name Burna Boy, who won a Grammy, has spoken publicly about his favourite football players.
Burna Boy recently admitted in an interview with ESPN that he does not root for either Lionel Messi or Cristiano Ronaldo.
Jay Jay Okocha, a former Nigerian international, is the football player the Dai Dai singer considers to be the best of all time.
The presenter enquired, “Who do you think is the best player of all time?”
“Jay Jay Okocha is my name,” Burna Boy said in response. Let him and Pele decide. That Messi or Ronaldo crap is not me.
The artist went on to say that Manchester United is his favourite club and that Harry Kane is his all-time favourite striker.
Kobbie Mainoo was his favourite Manchester United player, and Lamine Yamal was voted the top young player in the world by him.
