Teddy Onyejuwe, a public affairs expert, has stated that after their purported plot against Kogi Central senator Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan failed, Senate President Godswill Akpabio and activist Sandra Duru, also known as Dr. Prof. Mgbeke, should be allowed to continue their fight.
The claim was made by Onyejuwe in a statement on Monday.
His remarks coincided with a purportedly leaked recording that purportedly showed a conversation between Duru and Akpabio.
The recording that was leaked claims that Akpabio asked Duru to run against Akpoti-Uduaghan.
Regarding the viral tape, Akpabio and Akpoti-Uduaghan have not yet responded.
In response, Onyejuwe said that the audio leak was proof that the purported plot against Akpoti-Uduaghan had blown up.
According to him, the development should make Nigerians wonder who was responsible for Duru’s narrative against the Akpoti-Uduaghan. The two of them should now handle whatever transpired between Sandra Duru and Akpabio.
“Let those who are said to have made the agreement explain whether there was one. Let the evidence prove that there was a conspiracy.
“Duru and Akpabio ought to engage in independent combat.” “They shouldn’t use Natasha as ammunition,” he said.
Remember that Duru said Akpoti-Uduaghan had offered her N200 million as a bribe to indict Akpabio in 2025. Akpoti-Uduaghan, however, rejected the assertion.
After that, Akpabio sued Akpoti-Uduaghan for defamation for N200 billion.
