A moment of quiet is observed by Tinubu during his visit to Bayelsa in honour of the dead soldiers

Nigerian soldiers who died in an ambush in Borno State were remembered by President Bola Tinubu on Friday during a moment of silence.

At a stakeholders gathering during the commissioning of projects in Bayelsa State, the President made the statement while addressing at the Yenagoa State Government House.

Please stand for a moment of silence before I begin this speech in memory of the brave men and women who served our country and gave their lives in Borno State. And may the souls of Diepreye Alamieyeseigha, who served as governor of Bayelsa State, rest in peace.

For your service, the people of Nigeria are eternally grateful. It was very appreciated,” he remarked.
