In addition to the original N10 million bail, the controversial Nigerian self-proclaimed relationship expert Blessing CEO has been awarded an additional N20 million.
She had been remanded in Kirikiri prison for six weeks prior to this. The Nigerian Immigration Service (NIS) was instructed to enforce Blessing CEO’s travel limitations awaiting the determination of the case, and the Lagos State Special Offences Court granted her bail in the N69.15 million property fraud trial on Thursday.
According to Footynaija, Blessing CEO was arraigned by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) on June 9, 2026, for deceiving Hope Chiropractic Health Clinic Limited into giving him N69,150,000 in March 2025 in order to get a lease on a property in the Lekki region of Lagos.
She was charged with two counts of theft and one count of obtaining money by false pretences by the anti-graft agency. On the other hand, she entered a not guilty plea.
Her bail was set at N20 million with two sureties apiece, and Justice Rahman Oshodi ordered that each surety provide three years’ worth of deposit receipts totalling N20 million. Nonetheless, the case will not resume trial until October 12, 2026.
