Femi Kuti has stated that he would like not to be associated with the online drama involving famous dancer Korra Obidi.
This was Kuti’s way of playfully denying to pose for photos with the dancer following their Lagos gig.
Femi Kuti’s response, according to Footynaija, came after a twerking dance tribute by Korra Obidi at Fela Kuti’s gravesite in December 2025 caused a stir.
Korra shared this Instagram video by Femi Kuti on Friday. Kuti, who already has a lot on his plate, said that he doesn’t need any more drama in his life.
“I don’t want any problems in my life,” the singer added, pleading with her older sister Yeni Kuti to join the photo so she could escape scandal. There are enough issues in my life already. Evidently, the rain is a sign that the gods aren’t interested in this photo.
