After discovering a 2015 tweet in which rapper Blaqbonez compared him to another producer, DJ Coublon, producer-turned-singer Young Jonn turned down the rapper’s invitation to work with him.
Blaqbonez stated in the previous tweet that he liked DJ Coublon above Young Jonn.
In response to Young Jonn’s latest statement about wanting a band of five, Blaqbonez had expressed interest in working with him, but he was turned down because of his previous tweet.
“I need like five bad friends way we go dey move in bulk,” wrote Young Jonn.
“Oya, make we dey together, sing as one,” Blaqbonez responded.
Young Jonn responded, “Go sing as one with Coublon,” to a screenshot of Blaqbonez’s previous tweet favouring DJ Coublon above him.
Blaqbonez refuted the post, saying his social media handler made it in 2015.
