According to Brazilian forward Matheus Cunha, he made fun of Japan’s Kento Shiogai after the latter made some comments about his national team by calling them a “five-star” comment.

Before Brazil and Japan’s Round of 32 match, Shiogai said that the South American powerhouses aren’t as good as they formerly were.
According to Sportskeeda (via @poptime on X), the 21-year-old, who only made one substitute appearance for the Samurai Blue in the group stage, asked: “Brazil used to be a powerhouse, but what about now?” I believe only Argentina and France are formidable at the moment; I haven’t heard much about them recently.
Cunha started and played half of Brazil’s 2-1 victory over Japan, coached by Carlo Ancelotti.
