Onyedika turns down a new contract offer from Club Brugge

According to Footynaija, Raphael Onyedika turned down a new contract offer from Belgian Pro League club Club Brugge. The 19-time Belgian champions still have Onyedika’s one-year deal remaining.

In January, Club Brugge turned down approaches from Galatasaray, winners of the Turkish Super Lig, to acquire the Nigerian international.

Het Nieuwsblad, a Belgian news outlet, reports that Club Brugge has been attempting to sign Onyedika to a new deal for a while now.

On the other hand, the defensive midfielder plans to depart from the club when the current season concludes.

After playing for FC Midtylland of Denmark in 2022, Onyedika transferred to Club Brugge.
