The news that Real Madrid and Vinicius have extended his contract was announced in a club statement on Thursday.
The new contract for Vinicius at the Santiago Bernabeu runs until June 30, 2032.
At the tender age of eighteen, the Brazilian international signed with Real Madrid in July 2018.
Vinicius’ present term with the LaLiga giants is set to expire in 12 months, at which point he will likely sign a new contract extension with Real Madrid.
Speculation around the 26-year-old’s future with Madrid has been rampant this summer.
That summer, rumours circulated that he might be joining the reigning Premier League champions Arsenal.
