Success in the President Federation Cup is in Warri Wolves’ sights

According to footynaija, Warri Wolves have made up their minds to make a splash in the President Federation Cup this year.

On Wednesday at Benin City’s Samuel Ogbemudia Stadium, the Seasiders will face off against Stormers SC in the competition’s Round of 64. Last year, Warri Wolves were eliminated in the round of 16 of the competition, as reported by the footynaija.

The Seasiders will be looking to make a bold statement in this year’s competition as they pursue their first President Federation Cup championship, according to Warri Wolves’ media release.

“The 2016 season was Warri Wolves’ finest performance in the tournament, when they made a remarkable quarterfinal run.”

The champion will have the opportunity to participate in the CAF Confederation Cup the following year.
