The three players whose departures Arsenal has announced

The Gunners have confirmed that Beth Mead will be departing from the club after the current season.

Upon the expiration of her current contract, Mead will leave the Gunners after nine seasons. She won the Champions League and five other major awards while playing for the English team.

Rumours have circulated for weeks that Mead could be joining her partner, Manchester City forward and former Gunners player Vivianne Miedema, on the team. The 83-goal scorer, who is 31 years old, appeared in 258 games.

On Wednesday night, Arsenal will play host to Everton in their last home game of the season, so it’s not just Mead who will have the chance to bid farewell to the fans.

Two more players, Laia Codina and Victoria Pelova, will be departing Arsenal at the conclusion of the season, as confirmed earlier today by the club.
