Defeating Fulham 6-0, Arsenal pulls six points ahead of Man City

A dominant 3-0 victory over Fulham on Saturday night put Arsenal six points clear atop the Premier League standings.

Following last weekend’s razor-thin 1-0 win over Newcastle, the Gunners regained first place.

However, Mikel Arteta’s squad turned up the flair at the Emirates today to send a strong message to City in the last game.

In the very first minute, Viktor Gyokeres scored the first goal by deftly tapping in a low cross from Bukayo Saka.

After being set up by Gyokeres, who went on to score a third goal, Saka doubled Arsenal’s lead with a low drive.

When City visit Everton on Monday night, they’ll be aiming to reclaim some lost ground.
