In Osun 2026, Davido warns Tinubu, “If anything goes wrong, I will involve Trump

David Adeleke, better known by his stage name Davido, is an afrobeats musician from Nigeria. He has warned President Bola Tinubu that he would involve President Trump in the event that the upcoming governorship race in Osun state goes awry.

While performing live with comedian Carter Efe, Davido delivered the warning.

He made it clear that he would speak out if he felt the election process had been compromised, stressing the necessity of an impartial and trustworthy vote.

Davido threatened to bring Trump into the Osun election debacle if things didn’t work out.

The afrobeats sensation went on to say that he will bring any perceived wrongdoing to the notice of the world.

He issued the warning in the run-up to the governorship race on August 15, in which his uncle, Ademola Adeleke, is running for reelection.

According to Footynaija’s reporting, Davido has been heavily involved in the governor’s campaign, during which he has repeatedly called on the government to guarantee an open and honest voting process.
